Gaia is an ancient name for the living Earth, and like an elephant, or a tree, it is a living organism. Although Gaia is next door to my summer camp in Shasta, it is invisible until one ‘crystalizes’ over Prism Bridge to get there.

In Gaia the avatar kids receive special powers! Plants walk on their roots and talk! Bad plants (the Kruddys), eat junk food and litter! Gaia is next to Hazard Hollow and ruled by the King of Krud, Littermoore. He wants everyone to eat no-no-nutrient krud grub and be cranky!
